Sawyer Rooney, Winthrop senior: Rooney was solid last spring for the Ramblers, going 6-6 in singles as the Ramblers’ No. 2 player. He was an MVC first-team selection and member of the Sun Journal All-Region team, and should contend for a spot in the state singles tournament in May.
Alejandro Rigol Ruiz, Mt. Blue senior: Ruiz is the latest foreign-exchange student from Spain to join the Mt. Blue boys tennis team.
