Chloe LeBlanc pitched a no-hitter to lead Edward Little to a 9-1 win over Gray-New Gloucester in a softball game on Monday in Gray. 

LeBlanc struck out 18 batters and didn’t allow a walk over seven innings. She also contributed two singles.

Elizabeth Galway had three hits and three RBI for Edward Little (2-1). Lauren Bolduc also had three hits and knocked in two runs while scoring twice. Allie Michaud added two hits and scored a pair of runs.

Olivia Flanagan scored an unearned run for Gray-New Gloucester (0-2) in the bottom of the seventh inning. She also pitched five innings and struck out five batters.

LEWISTON 4, MT. BLUE 1: Isabella Enos ripped three singles and drove home two runs for the Blue Devils (3-0) in their win over the Cougars (1-2) in Farmington.

Elise Cloutier also singled home a run and Juliet Philippon collected two singles for Lewiston.

Leah Michaud (RBI) and Molly Hambrick each notched two singles for Mt. Blue.

OXFORD HILLS 13, BRUNSWICK 3: Peyton Cleveland had three hits, including a double and also pitched an inning of a combined no-hitter as the Vikings (3-0) beat the Dragons (0-3) in Paris.

Kyeria Morse pitched six innings, allowing three unearned runs, while striking out 11 and walking three for Oxford Hills. Cleveland pitched a perfect sixth. She also had two RBI. 

Norah Couture, Faith Wallace and Madilynn Hewson each had an RBI for Brunswick.

POLAND 8, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Karlee Lothrop struck out 13 in a complete-game effort for the Knights (2-2) in Poland.

Lothrop allowed three runs, four hits and walked one.

Carly Jarvis knocked home two runs for the Knights. Phoebe Paradis, Delia Farrington and Addy Bryant each recorded an RBI. Bryant had two hits, while the other eight Poland batters each contributed one.

Presli Knapp and Hannah Murray each brought home a run and Reagan Wilson finished with two hits for Fryeburg (2-1).

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 12, MT. ABRAM 2: Lauren Burnham singled, tripled and drove in four runs as the Mustangs (2-0) cruised to a five-inning victory over the Roadrunners (0-2) in Monmouth.

Lillian Palleschi singled twice for the Mustangs.

Mt. Abram scored both of its runs in the top of the fifth, but Monmouth plated three in the bottom half of the inning to put the mercy rule in effect.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 11, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Lily Fortin had three hits and also was the winning pitcher as the Panthers (3-0) stopped Mountain Valley (0-1) in five innings at Yarmouth.

Fortin allowed four hits and struck out six for NYA, which scored five runs in the first and fourth innings, and two in the second.

Reese Weaver, Cami Casserly and Sedona Palmer added two hits each for the Panthers.

OAK HILL 2, LAKE REGION 1: The Raiders scored the winning run with one out in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Lakers in Wales.

Izzy Whitaker pitched all nine innings for Oak Hill, striking out five batters, allowing three hits and out-dueling Lake Region’s Haley Hamlin, who fanned 14 and gave up four hits in 8 1/3 innings.

Whitaker also had two of the Raiders hits, while Addy Wilson doubled and singled for the Lakers.

BASEBALL

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 5, MT. ABRAM 2: Levi Laverdiere struck out eight and held the Roadrunners (0-2) scoreless over the final six innings as the Mustangs improve to 3-0 with a Class C South victory in Monmouth.

Laverdiere allowed three hits and walked one over seven innings. He also singled and drove in a run. Zane Foyt and Jake Harmon (RBI, two runs) each doubled and singled, and Logan LeClair had a hit and drove in two runs for Monmouth.

Mt. Abram opened the game with two runs in the top of the first, but the Mustangs answered with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, then they took the lead with another run in the second.

Brenna Mitchell had two of the Roadrunners’ three hits, including a double, and he drove in a run and scored another.

SACOPEE VALLEY 8, TELSTAR 6: Bo Fenderson pitched 4 2/3 innings of relief to help Sacopee Valley (3-1) come away with a victory against Telstar (2-2) at Bethel.

Cooper Berkowitz, Isiah Nielsen and Braiden Croteau were repeat hitters in the Hawks’ 10-hit offense. Owen Barsanti and Keegan Day drove in two runs each.

Bryson Walker went 3 for 4 for Telstar.

EDWARD LITTLE 10, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Richie Norgren drove in three runs on two hits to lead the Red Eddies (1-2) to a victory over the Patriots (0-2) in Gray.

Brooks Beaudry added two RBI, while Dom Dumais and Evan Scott each drove in a run.

Max Kimble pitched six innings for Edward Little, striking out seven, allowing nine hits and walking two. Peyton Kelsea struck out the side in the seventh.

Mason Amergian and Gage Rioux each recorded two singles for Gray-New Gloucester, while Caleb Barker and Kayden Oliver each drove home a run.

OXFORD HILLS 13, BRUNSWICK 3: Cam Pulkkinen was 3 for 4 with a triple and five RBI, Gunnar Truman was 3 for 4 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored, and the Vikings (3-0) won a five-inning game against the Dragons (1-2) in Paris.

Oxford Hills broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, then put the 10-rule into effect in the fifth.

The Vikings finished with 14 hits, including two each by Jacoby Boyce and Finley Cavers.

Logan Garascia got two of Brunswick four hits.

GIRLS LACROSSE

FREEPORT 12, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Nora Eames and Ella Tracy scored two goals each as the Falcons (1-3) defeated Gray-New Gloucester (0-3) at Freeport.

Elsa Klein, Sophie Simard, Karleigh Costello, Liza Flower, Lia Moore, Keeley Furtney, Isla Pattershall and Taylor Osgood also scored.
