Last week, Kennebunk topped the Varsity Maine girls lacrosse poll by just one point in the Varsity Maine girls lacrosse poll. This week, the Rams are the undisputed No. 1, having received all nine first-place votes.

Falmouth is one vote shy of a being a unanimous No. 2, while last week’s No. 2, Windham, comes in third. Thornton Academy caught the voters’ notice by taking down Windham on Friday. The Golden Trojans have not only joined the rankings, they jumped all the way to No. 4.

The poll again features two Class C squads. No. 6 Maranacook/Winthrop has outscored its five opponents 88-11, and seven of those goals were scored by No. 10 Wells in the Black Bears’ 11-7 victory on Friday.

The Varsity Maine girls lacrosse poll is based on games played before May 5, 2026. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
