The president of the United States is elected to support the American people and make their lives better. Our current president said he does not think about the financial situation of the American people. Isn’t it his job think about, and act upon, the financial situation of the American people?
What has his Iran war cost? He spends millions every weekend to fly away to play golf. Money is spent on tacky changes to the White House, which is not his. Millions of dollars, and perhaps $1 billion, on a ballroom no one wants but himself. Lots of money spent putting his name on buildings, designing a huge arch to honor himself. Millions wanted to paint the Eisenhower office building when all it needs is a good power washing. Millions spent on refurbishing a huge 747 he accepted from a foreign government rather than have an American company build one.
The list of President Trump’s huge expenditures go on and on, but he does not think about the financial needs of the American people. Look at all he spends, or wants to spend, and not a dime directed to the hundreds of Mississippi families who lost everything in recent tornados.
Someone needs to remind him his job is to benefit the American people and not just honor himself.
