Kyeria Morse pitched a five-inning no-hitter to lead Oxford Hills to an 11-0 win over Mt. Ararat in a softball game on Friday in South Paris.
Morse struck out nine and walked two to earn the win for the Vikings (13-2).
Emma Cooper drove in three runs and Attie Campbell had two hits, including a double. Peyton Cleveland also had a double and drove in two runs.
Mt. Ararat is now 4-11.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 9, LISBON 3: Evelyn Pettengill pitched a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and helped lead the offense with two hits as the Mustangs (10-2) beat the Greyhounds (9-4) in Monmouth.
Kaitlyn Frost also had two hits for the Mustangs.
Brynn Chase hit a double for Lisbon.
SKOWHEGAN 3, MT. BLUE 2: The River Hawks (11-4) rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat the Cougars (7-8) in Skowhegan.
The comeback started when Maya Dudley was hit by a pitch. Natalie Cooke smacked a double, and Skowhegan tied the game on RBI singles by Addie Lynch and Lydia Jones before a throwing error on a bunt allowed the winning run to score.
Mt. Blue took the lead in the third inning on an RBI single by Sydney Fletcher. Rowan Lancaster made it 2-0 with an RBI single in the top of the seventh.
GREELY 17, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5: Katie Wallace drove in six runs with three hits, including a home run, and the Rangers (10-4) rolled past the Patriots (4-9) in five innings for their ninth consecutive win.
A 10-run second inning extended Greely’s streak of double-digit scoring games to nine. Maren Costable drove in three runs and scored four times from the leadoff spot, Sophie Smith had three hits, and Quinn Simpson, CJ Gorham and Rosemary Faunce all finished with two hits and two runs.
Sarah Pelkey doubled and had three RBI for Gray-New Gloucester. Olivia Flanigan was 2 for 3.
LEWISTON 17, BRUNSWICK 6: Juliet Philippon was 3 for 4, with a double, drove in four and scored twice to lift the Blue Devils (12-3) past the Dragons (0-15) in Lewiston.
Irelyn Ackley and Maija Raymond each added a double, while Isabella Enos scored three times for Lewiston.
Ava Zimmerman hit a triple, while Faith Wallace and Norah Couture each had a double for Brunswick.
BASEBALL
OXFORD HILLS 1, MT. ARARAT 0: Carter Davis pitched a no-hitter, striking out seven, walking two and hitting two, to lead the Vikings (13-1) to a win over the Eagles (12-3) in South Paris.
Oxford Hills scored the only run of the game in the fourth inning. Finley Cavers hit a one-out single, moved to second on a wild pitch and to third on a bunt by Jacob Turcotte. Jacoby Boyce followed with a sacrifice fly.
Mt. Ararat had runners on in the first, fourth, fifth and seventh, but couldn’t score.
GREELY 13, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Luke Piper smacked a home run and a double and scored three runs as the Rangers (9-5) earned their fourth straight win, beating the Patriots (3-10) in a five-inning game in Cumberland.
Kyle Soule, Jarrett Bush and Connor Skillin all had two RBI in support of freshman pitcher Ben Schimmack, who recorded nine strikeouts. Soule also scored three runs.
Mason Amergian had two hits and an RBI for Gray-New Gloucester.
BRUNSWICK 15, LEWISTON 3: Duncan Brown had a double and a triple, with two RBI and two runs scored and the Dragons (6-9) beat the Blue Devils (0-15) in Lewiston.
Gabe Purnel Amaez and Sam Mullen each added a double, and Wyatt Aceto had a triple for Brunswick. Logan Garacia had a home run and drove in three runs and Evan Gerbi had two RBI.
Owen Norton had two hits, including a triple for Lewiston.
MARANACOOK 8, MT. ABRAM 4: Caldre Glowa and Alex Spaulding combined on a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts as the Black Bears (14-1) defeated the Roadrunners (7-8) in Readfield for their 13th straight victory.
Grady Hreben belted a three-run homer during a five-run second inning that gave Maranacook a 7-2 lead. He finished with four hits, and Jack Spellman added three hits.
Both Glowa and Spaulding recorded seven strikeouts. Spaulding relieved in the fourth inning.
Eben Laliberte had two hits and an RBI for Mt. Abram.
BOYS LACROSSE
WINDHAM 20, LEWISTON 5: Luke Drottar paced the Eagles (6-6) with seven goals in a victory over the Blue Devils (5-7) in Lewiston.
Jack Henry picked up three goals and two assists. Luke Hangge (four assists), Sean LeBel and Colin McKenna each recorded two goals. Mason Arbour (four assists), Landon Wyman (two assists), Liam Reinbold (assist) and Bradley Muse also scored.
Collin Michaud scored twice for Lewiston. Bernardo Fra-Nero, Myles Walker and Ben Gradwell each had a goal and an assist.
