Allison Rose Pease

AUBURN – Born on Aug. 25, 1979, in Lewiston, Maine, Allison Pease, 46, passed away surrounded by love on May 21, 2026, in Auburn, Maine.

To know Allison was to know warmth, kindness, and unconditional love. She was beautiful inside and out — funny, welcoming, thoughtful, resilient, and unbelievably strong. Even throughout her journey battling ovarian cancer, Allison never wavered in her compassion, humor, bravery, and most importantly, her faith. She had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, cared for, and important, and her absence leaves a heartbreak that words cannot fully capture and time could never fully heal.

Above all else, Allison loved her family fiercely. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Damien Pease, whom she had loved since childhood and shared an extraordinary 34 years together with. She was a deeply cherished mother to her daughter, Mercedes Pease, and son, Michael Pease, and a beloved mother-in-law to Nicholas Maschino. Allison’s love for her family only multiplied when she finally earned the title of Grandma from her grandson, Finley and granddaughter, MacKeil — If you ever asked Allison about her greatest joys and accomplishments they surely came from being a mother and grandmother, both of which she excelled at greatly.

Allison also shared a deep bond with her mother, Shirley Pinard, her father, Richard Pinard; and her sisters Marsha Fisher and Brittany Brown, all of whom she loved dearly.

As devoted as Allison was to her family, she was equally dedicated to her work. She spent 25 years working for the City of Lewiston, where the women she worked alongside became far more than coworkers — they became family. The love, respect, and support Allison built throughout her life reflect the kind of person she was. During her years in Lewiston, she formed lifelong friendships and left lasting impressions that will carry her legacy on forever. To know Allison was truly to love her.

Outside of work, Allison found joy in life’s simple moments. Some of her most treasured afternoons and weekends were spent alongside family and friends on her patio — listening to the birds, sharing family dinners, enjoying meaningful conversations, or simply sitting quietly and soaking in the beautiful life she had built around her, always with her beloved pets nearby.

Allison also found beauty in the world around her. She loved to admire beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Whether it was an ocean view, a mountain landscape, a walk along the beach, or a drive to somewhere new, Allison appreciated all the beauty life had to offer. She viewed the world with wonder, gratitude, and love — the same qualities through which she herself will always be remembered.

Although Allison’s life was cut far too short, she left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her that will last a lifetime. She will be remembered for the compassion she gave so freely, the strength she carried so quietly, and the immense love she had for her family and friends — a love that was returned to her endlessly in both life and death. Allison’s warm embrace, bright smile, and captivating presence will be missed forever.

The loss of Allison is immeasurable, and the lives she touched will never be the same without her. Though our hearts are shattered, we are endlessly grateful for the love, memories, and years we were blessed to share with her.

There will be a small ceremony at the Sabattus Community Baptist Church on Saturday June 13, starting at 10 a.m., followed by Celebration of Life at 28 Shady Lane in Hallowell.
