Lewiston faces numerous challenges these days. We are struggling to find decent jobs and keep up with the rising cost of just about everything, from childcare to housing to gasoline. We need a proven leader in the Maine Senate who will fight for policies that ease the burden on working families and strengthen pathways to decent, family-sustaining jobs.
Mana Abdi is that leader. She has represented House District 95 in Lewiston for the last two
terms, and has more than earned my vote in that time. Abdi has helped ease the burden of
childcare for many more families like mine, fought to strengthen our schools and helped to
expand trades apprenticeship programs in Maine.
I urge Lewiston Democrats and independents to please vote for Mana Abdi for State Senate in the June 9 Democratic primary.
