Lots of attention is being paid to the U.S. Senate and Maine governor’s races. Don’t forget that local races matter, too. People who serve as selectmen, school board members and county commissioners do hard and important work that directly affects our communities.
We’re lucky to have Lisa Cesare running as a write-in candidate on the Democratic ticket for Androscoggin County commissioner, District 7 (Minot, Turner, Leeds, Livermore and Livermore Falls).
I’ve known Cesare for 20 years and have seen her in action in our community. She’s smart and practical, works hard, and cares about the impact of the issues she’s working on. Cesare has served on the Minot Board of Selectmen, the Androscoggin County Budget Committee, the RSU 16 School Budget Committee and the board of the Auburn Public Library.
Join me in writing in Lisa Cesare for Androscoggin County Commission. She’ll work hard to do the right thing.
