Phillips voters approved all 43 warrant articles June 20 during the annual town meeting.
The $1.68 million spending plan is a 14.49% increase over the fiscal year that ends June 30.
Town Manager Maureen Haley said information about county contributions is not available yet for Phillips, but the town expects around a 10% increase over last year. In the meantime, they reported $215,643 as a placeholder until solid numbers are available.
A commercial solar energy systems ordinance was also approved, establishing new guidelines for the development of “commercial-style” solar energy units.
Voters passed an updated service agreement between Phillips and Avon, allowing the sharing of services such as road grading and plowing, along with the previously permitted waste removal and fire coverage.
At the meeting, Justin Vachon, Chris Norton and Nicole Levesque were elected to three seats on the Select Board. Elected to the Maine School Administrative District 58 board were Andrea Vadell and Joe Ford. Betty Jean Bangs was reelected unopposed as the town clerk.
