Here is a list of cooling centers open for those with no air conditioning or at risk for heat-related medical issues in the Oxford Hills and surrounding communities:
Brownfield Community Center: 90 Main St. — Thursday, Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The HILLS Recovery Center: 15 Tannery St., Norway — Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Mechanic Falls Fire Rescue: 106 Lewiston St. — Thursday, Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Otisfield Community Center: 292 State Route 121 — Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Poland Town Hall: 1231 Maine St. — Thursday, Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
