DEAR SUN SPOTS: Danville Junction Grange at 15 Grange St. in Auburn is sponsoring an Indoor-Outdoor Yard Sale on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p. m.

There will be raffles, baked goods, RADA cutlery, attic treasures, plants and much more.

We are looking forward to greeting old friends and meeting new ones. Thank you, Ms. Sun Spots, for your loyal support in helping us spread the word. — Glenys, Auburn

ANSWER: I love how busy the members of the Danville Junction Grange always are and applaud your efforts. I also want to publicly thank Glenys who does such a nice job with her submissions. The information is always perfectly organized and sent in plenty of time. It makes my job so easy!

If you are new to Sun Spots and ever need help with putting your event announcement together, just email me a line or two and I’ll assist you. DEAR SUN SPOTS: A large Indoor/Outdoor Rummage and Yard Sale will be held at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. in South Paris from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 8.

A bag sale will follow from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Adult and children’s clothes, books, toys, furniture, kitchenware, holiday decor, household items, tools, and much more will be available at very reasonable prices. — No name, South Paris

ANSWER: This event sounds fantastic and a great shopping experience for back-to-school items, necessities for college kids’ dorm rooms or apartments, and those who are starting out in their own place.

Then there are the books! I must admit that’s the big attraction for me. Just this past Saturday at a local sale, I snagged a hardcover best seller by Maine author Elizabeth Strout, along with a designer pullover for $1 total. I love to hear about yard sale treasures so share your stories!

ANSWER: And remember, if you’re organizing a reunion and looking for certain people, we’ll list their names and our readers will help find them.

I’ve always been impressed by the school spirit of LHS and it seems that your class still has plenty of it. Remind me again when the event gets closer and we’ll publish an update with the info.
