Portland Hearts of Pine forward Aboubacar Camara was named the USL League One player of the week on Tuesday.
Also, Hearts of Pine coach Bobby Murphy was named the coach of the week.
Both awards were actually for Weeks 17 and 18 of the regular season combined, rather than the usual one-week period.
Camara scored two goals in a 5-1 win over the Richmond Kickers on June 24 and got an assist as Portland rallied for a 3-2 win over FC Naples on Friday. He has five goals and one assist this season.
The Hearts have won back-to-back games for the first time this season and are three points out of a playoff spot. They return to action at 7 p.m. Saturday when they host the New York Cosmo at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.
