Looking for a great source for fresh produce and locally-made products? Western Maine’s numerous farm stands and shops offer a one-stop place to buy local and meet those who provide these products.
Area farmers markets are great, too, but sometimes those days and times just don’t work.
While some stands are specific to produce and, perhaps, cut flowers, other stands/shops offer meats, eggs, dairy, baked goods, honey and syrup, jams and jellies and a selection of gift items.
And remember, buying local supports the farms in western Maine.
