DEAR SUN SPOTS: St. Catherine of Sienna Church at 32 Paris St. in Norway will host an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m., offering a sweet way for the community to enjoy summer and support a meaningful cause.

Guests can enjoy ice cream with a full selection of toppings, along with a variety of homemade baked goods. The event will also feature lawn games plus balloons and bubbles for the children, making it a fun occasion for all ages.

 The social is planned for outdoors, but in the event of rain, activities will move indoors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

 Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going toward the efforts to alleviate food insecurities in our community. — Sandy, Norway
