Oquossoc Day is back for another year of activities Saturday, Aug. 15, promising family fun and community spirit. This year’s theme is classic TV. Highlights will include a car show, boat parade and the annual water ski show.

“No streaming, no subscriptions, no reruns. Just one unforgettable day in Oquossoc,” the Oquossoc Day Committee said in an event listing.

List of events:

  • 8:30-10 a.m. — Pancake breakfast in Oquossoc Park
  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Art and antiques show at the Outdoor Heritage Museum
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Car show at Oquossoc Marine
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Tom Ball Band performs at Oquossoc Park
  • 11 a.m. — Dog show at Oquossoc Grocery
  • Noon — Cornhole tournament at the Oquossoc Condominium lawn
  • 1 p.m. — Decorated boat parade at Oquossoc Cove Marina
  • 2-3:30 p.m. — Maine attraction water ski show at Oquossoc Cove Marina
  • 4 p.m. — Afterparty at Portage Tap House
