“Make America Great Again.” Isn’t this a contradiction in terms?

Americans are experiencing high gas prices, high food prices, homelessness, ICE shootings, losing healthcare insurance coverage, higher taxes, losing voting rights, freedom of speech, all brought on by the current administration’s inability to truly keep our country and democracy in line with our Constitution.

Why is it more important to try and take over other countries than helping its own citizens strive to achieve the “American Dream”? How does starting wars in other countries or issuing tariffs on just about everything imported “Make America Great Again”?

In my opinion, the slogan should read: “Make America Great Another Time.”
