I am writing to share my experience with my state representative, Sally Cluchey.
We recently moved to Bowdoinham, and it was starting to get into the cold months. We needed assistance navigating the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which is a complicated process with lots of paperwork. I made an appointment with Bowdoinham Community Connections, a local organization that helps people in our community work through issues like this.
My appointment was with Sally Cluchey, who works for the program part-time when she is not in the Legislature. Sally spent a lot of time with us, working patiently until the whole process was completed. She really cared and did not judge our situation. We couldn’t have done it without her.
This experience gave me confidence that people really do care. I will be proud to support her reelection as my state representative.
