Ron Bastien, a Lewiston Public Works driver, climbs into his dump truck Monday evening after inspecting utility cables that were knocked down when Bastien forgot to lower the back of the truck after dumping a load at the city’s quarry on Lincoln Street. Cable and telephone wires for about five homes were knocked down by the truck, but none lost electricity, city officials said.
