LEWISTON — “Oh My Aching Legs!” is the topic of a Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute Mini-Medical School educational program set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing and Health Professions, 70 Middle St.
Physician assistants Danielle George and Kevin Quigley will discuss the effects of impaired blood flow through veins. Their presentation will examine the complex system of leg veins and various complications, including varicose veins.
A graduate of Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, George completed training in surgery at Spectrum Health/Western University of Michigan, Grand Rapids, Mich. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Quigley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., and earned a master’s degree at Quinnipiac University, in Hamden, Conn.
