LISBON – The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will host a GPS unit training workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Beaver Park. A storm date of April 5 has been planned at the same site.

The workshop will offer GPS basics, and units will be provided for the training session.

In partnership with the Maine Forest Service, participants will receive approximately two hours of classroom and two hours outside with hands-on training in the use of a GPS unit.
