AUBURN – The Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. (Throughout the year, if there is a storm, there will be no meeting).

Tickets will be on sale ($4) Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 for the Valentine luncheon on Feb. 13. Dues must be paid to buy these tickets. Installation of officers will take place and annual reports will be given at this time. Bingo will be the entertainment following lunch. There will be the usual raffle table.

The annual Thanksgiving dinner celebration was enjoyed by Robin Dow members Nov. 14 at the Auburn United Methodist Church with 71 attending. Jan Biron entertained with vocal selections accompanied by a background C.D. on the karoke machine. Pot of gold winners were Lucy Cowles, Kaye Hewison, Sylvia Thibodeau, Eugenia Dixon, Mary Tassinari, Helen McGuire, Lucien Marcoux, Hope Telow, Jeannette Libby and Lorraine Marcous.

A Christmas celebration was held Dec. 12 with members attending dinner at the Ramada Inn. Ron Niggle of “Just One” provided musical entertainment, combining accordian and organ music on his keyboard. Pot of gold winners were Kaye Koss, Lee Koss, Aileen Harnden, Shirley Huntley, Anna Gavel, Nancy Roy, Evelyn Rose, Edwina Bonney and Caroline Chapman.
