LEWISTON – Four locals were arrested Saturday night after police discovered a “large quantity of crack cocaine” intended for sale in a room at the Chalet Motel, according to Lt. Donald Mailhot.

Police had contact with at least one of the individuals earlier in the evening, Mailhot said, which lead them to the drugs. Arrested shortly after 10:30 p.m. were Chad Ronald Roy, 23, of Leeds, on possession of a schedule W drug; Ernest Goulet, 42, of Lewiston, on trafficking a schedule W drug; Eric Rand, 19, of Lewiston, on possession of a schedule W drug; and Jeanette Ryerson, 36, a transient, on possession of schedule W drug and violation of bail.

More arrests are expected, Mailhot said. The investigation continues, he said.
