FARMINGTON — Alma L. Dube, 88, formerly of Stratton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Edgewood Manor, where she was currently a resident, with her family by her side.

She was born in 1922, in Woburn, Canada, the daughter of Arthur and Emilia (LeCours) Brault. Alma married Honore J. Dube Jan. 3, 1941 in Oquossoc.

She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Stratton. She had a great sense of humor. Alma loved to knit and also enjoyed her flower gardens.

Alma is survived by 12 children, Cecile Comeau of Rumford, Lucille Gatchell and her husband, Merrill “Bo,” of Nobleboro, John Dube and his wife, Laurel, of Stratton, Marcel Dube and his wife, Cindy, of Willits, Calif., Fran Murphy and her husband, Tom, of Westbrook, Hug Flannigan of Eatonton, Ga., Deano Haines of Stratton, Norman Dube of Eatonton, Ga., Monique Hamlin and her husband, Harry, of Windham, Leo Dube and his wife, Cindy, of Lebanon, Mark Dube and his wife, Donna, of Temple and Claude Dube of Stratton; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Alma was predeceased by her husband, Honore in April 1986; and two daughters.
