Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle
A 54-year-old Old Town woman was killed while walking on Thursday evening. At 6:27 p.m. that night, police received a report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. Old Town boys, Orono girls advance in tourney
The Old Town boys basketball team beat Ellsworth this afternoon 53-50 to advance to the Eastern Maine Class B finals on Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center at 3:45 p.m. Orono’s girls, meanwhile, beat Piscataquis 40-29 this morning to advance to the Class C semifinals, where they will play at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.
