Flatbread Co. reopens; Ri Ra still closed 5 days after fire

The 2 Portland businesses share a building in the Old Port that was damaged in a hood vent fire Sunday.

Flatbread Co. and Ri Ra Irish Pub remained closed on Monday after a fire in a hood vent Sunday afternoon.

The Seashore Trolley Museum is asking Facebook followers to help name the “white ball of fluff.”

The holiday means independence for the United States – and for these grateful people, too.

They include language interpreters for the African immigrants – and even a yoga instructor.
