Due to an escalating problem with leaks in the Town Hall roof, Selectmen have called a Special Town Meeting to seek approval of funds for roof repair and replacement instead of waiting until the March 11 annual Town Meeting.

FARMINGTON — Selectmen on Tuesday night unanimously authorized entering an agreement with Central Maine Power to convert the town’s streetlights from sodium bulbs to more-efficient LEDs.
