Oxford wrecker service proposes ordinance to ensure equity of town’s business
The owners of Oxford Towing & Recovery allege that in the last two years, 90% of Oxford Police Department's calls for wrecker services has been granted to one company. In the past, the practices has been to rotate business among all the operators in town.

Oxford to maintain annual town meetings over ballot voting
With 3,137 register voters, around 750 participated in this year's June elections with 80 attending annual town meeting. In 2023, a year with no major primaries, about 168 voted during June elections with 40 or so attending annual town meeting.
