Thanksgiving meal

JAY — A free Thanksgiving meal will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 148 Main St. Doors open at noon.

Donations are welcome but not necessary.

Community breakfast

RANGELEY — The next Community Breakfast with everyone invited to attend will be held from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Kelli’s Place.

Chowder luncheon

FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a fish chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18. The luncheon includes chowder, biscuit, pickles, cheese, dessert and coffee/tea beverage. For local delivery (within five miles of the church) call the church at 778-4705. The donation for the luncheon is $6.

CANTON — There will be a spaghetti supper and Chinese auction from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Canton Municipal Building. The auction will take place immediately following the supper. INDUSTRY — A Christmas bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Industry Town Hall, featuring gift items, baked goods, raffles and luncheon specials on hamburgers and hot dogs. Christmas fair

JAY — The annual St. Rose Christmas Fair will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.

Coffee and doughnuts will be served for breakfast, turkey pot pie and fish chowder served for lunch and sold throughout the day, cookie walk, crafts, etc. More than 100 items will be raffled off, including $200 cash, $250 from Pine Tree Orthopedic, $100 Downeast Energy, $50 Visa gift card, Longaberger baskets, Keurig coffee brewer, Vera Bradley bag, Huskey 140-piece tool set, quilts, maple syrup, American Doll and more.
