LIVERMORE — The Board of Selectpersons on Monday accepted the resignation of General Assistance Director Susan Sapiel.
Sapiel submitted a letter of resignation effective Nov. 30.
The board appointed Jean Tardif to succeed her.
Administrative Assistant Carrie Castonguay told the board Tardif must first have training Dec. 28 at the Town Office with an employee from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Lewiston office.
Amanda Allen of Livermore Falls will provide General Assistance help until then.
Castonguay said there had not been any requests made in the last few weeks.
