LISBON — Books & Boos Press announced  “Where Spiders Fear to Spin,” a new novella from Bram Stoker Award® finalist Peter N. Dudar of Lisbon Falls, has been published by  Books & Boos Press, based in Connecticut.

Dudar auctioned off the chance to be a walk-on character in the novella as part of the Lisbon Community School PTO’s annual fundraising auction. The winner, Abby Cunningham, appears with her father in the book. The author has additionally arranged to donate all of his royalties from sales of the novella to the Lisbon Community School PTO.

Dudar stays true to his horror roots with this spooky tale about a former celebrity in her last days who is being haunted by the ghost of her late husband. “Dudar has captured the essence of a gripping ghost story—fear, vengeance, and a family haunted by the past itself,” said Stacey Harris, managing editor for Books & Boos Press.

Dudar is the author of “A Requiem for Dead Flies, Dolly & Other Stories,” and “The Angel of Death,” among other titles. His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies and magazines, and he writes a monthly column, “Me and Lil’ Stevie,” for “Cinema Knife Fight,” an online movie review site.

“Where Spiders Fear to Spin” is available in trade paperback and ebook from major book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Apple’s iBookstore.
