FARMINGTON — A local woman is accused of punching and choking a man at a Perham Street apartment Sunday, police said.
A third party called 911 to report a verbal argument that had been escalating during the morning, according to a police report.
Officers Darin Gilbert and Justin Blais responded at 11:55 a.m. to the apartment building where Megan White, 23, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.
There were scratches around the victim’s neck, Cote said.
There was also a broken television and broken PlayStation headphones, he said.
The victim refused to cooperate with police, Cote said.
White was taken to the Franklin County jail in Farmington. A judge set her bail at personal recognizance on Tuesday.
