BETHEL – School Administrative District 44 directors will decide Monday evening whether to approve a formal appraisal of land behind Telstar Regional High School.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Superintendent David Murphy said the board the appraisal is for approximately 35 to 40 acres.

The board will also decide what action to take regarding an estimate on the value of trees on the school site.

Murphy said the total cost for each appraisal would not exceed $1,400.

The board will also decide whether to approve the following nominations by Murphy:

* Dean of Students for Telstar High School.

* Second-grade teacher at Woodstock Elementary School.

* Special Education teacher for Telstar Middle School.

* Science teacher for Telstar Middle School.

* Math teacher for Telstar Regional High School.

* Third-grade teacher for Crescent Park School in Bethel.
