FARMINGTON — New Ventures Maine, formerly known as Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community, is offering a workshop titled Business Basics.

Sessions will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 9, 16 and 23, at the New Ventures Maine office, 109 Perham St., Suite 2, in Farmington.

The class covers the basics of a business plan, marketing, cash planning and is suitable for those thinking about, or are in the early stage startup of a new business. It will help attendees assess the feasibility, desirability and viability of a business idea and start writing a business plan.
