STANDISH —  Auditions for Broadway’s beloved Wild West musical  “Annie Get Your Gun,” will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 18, and from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, at the Schoolhouse Arts Center, 16 Richville Road (Route 114).

The play includes a large cast with parts for males and females of any age from 10 to 70 with a wide variety of vocal ranges.  

Please bring sheet music and be prepared to sing and do cold readings from the script.

“Annie Get Your Gun”  is a musical about the rocky romance  Buffalo Bill’s Wild West sharpshooters, Annie Oakley and Frank Butler. America’s beloved Broadway composer, Irving Berlin’s fabulous score contains the celebrated hit songs: “Doin’ What Comes Natur’lly,” “Anything You Can Do,” and the stage performers’ theme song, “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” 

“Annie Get Your Gun” will be directed by Rob Jeurgens. Show dates will be July 9 through Aug 2.  Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. on Sundays.
