FARMINGTON — Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services (SAPARS) is providing youth and adults with one to one support throughout the summer at drop-in sites located in Jay, Rangeley, and Phillips. During the school year, drop-in services have been available through the schools.
New meeting locations have been established so survivors of sexual violence, and concerned others can access in-person support without having to travel to the Farmington office. An advocate will be available on Tuesdays in Jay, on Wednesdays in Phillips, and on Thursdays in Rangeley. SAPARS hopes to continue these drop-in services beyond the summer months, and to establish additional locations in the more rural and northern parts of Franklin County.
For information on drop-in times and locations, please call the SAPARS office at (207) 778-9522.
