VIENNA — Singer-songwriter Kyle Knuppel and jazz guitarist Matt Davis will be joined by vocalist Peter Gaudioso for a performance at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Vienna Union Hall, 5 Mountain Road.

Knuppel will soon graduate from the Maine Dartmouth Family Practice Residency program. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami School of Music and took master classes at Julliard. He is working on his third CD recorded in Maine.

Davis taught music from elementary to the graduate levels. He is the senior lecturer of jazz guitar performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and a New York Pops teaching artist in New York City. He is the originator of Aerial Photograph, a 12-piece modern chamber jazz ensemble that has recorded three albums of Davis’ original music.

Gaudioso played with Aerial Photograph in the late 1990s, as well as other jazz bands. In 2007, after developing tendinitis in his left hand, drumming became too painful and he turned to singing. He takes the familiar Cole Porter, Gershwin or Jimmy Van Heusen and combines it with something somber from Billy Strayhorn, turning out something new and fresh.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. They can be purchased by calling 207-293-2362 or 207-293-2674 or by emailing viennaunionhall@gmail.com or eacharville@gmail.com.
