SOUTH PARIS — A Woodstock woman was injured Monday afternoon when the car she was driving and a second car collided near Market Square.

Police said Rachel Wilday, 43, of Woodstock was pulling out of a parking lot on East Main Street and Timothy Brackett, 54, of Buckfield was traveling on East Main Street when their vehicles collided.

Wilday said her vision was obstructed by a vehicle parked on East Main Street so she didn’t see Brackett’s car, according to police.

Wilday was transported to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway for treatment.

Brackett was uninjured, according to police.

Wilday’s 2000 Nissan Maxima and Brackett’s 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo were demolished.

Police said no charges were issued.
