This summer, Central Maine Technical College held an elite girl’s basketball camp for the first time. All girls who signed up were required to have at least one year of prior varsity training. A small group of nine girls pulled together for an exciting week. Our two fabulous coaches, Danny (boy’s varsity coach at St. Dom’s High School) and Bianca (player at Colby College), used their abilities to improve our game in a way we hadn’t expected. Our week was not only about running drills and playing games, but having fun as well. As the week progressed our two teams, the “Goats” and the “Slippery Fish,” made for some comical yet intense games. A special thanks to all of you who made this a week to remember. It was a blast!
Those who attended were Sarah, Amanda and Mindy of Poland Regional High School; Angie and Elizabeth of Eastgate Christian Academy; Kate of Catherine McAuley High School; Shelby of Waynflete, Lindsay of St. Dom’s High School, and Emily of Durham Middle School.
