Why is President Bush so obsessed about the threat of a country like Iraq?

The USA has the military might to devastate any country that would be stupid enough to attack us — even Russia with tremendous military might and the means to deliver it wasn’t willing to try it and its leaders could be just as ruthless as the leader of Iraq.

Why would anyone with any common sense think that wiping out Iraq will stop terrorist attacks? They have been going on in Ireland, England, Russia, the Mid-East, and even carried out by our own citizens right here in the United States — long before Bush became president. We are never going to be rid of tyrants who want to carry out these attacks. The only thing George Bush has addressed since he took office is terrorism.

The time is long overdue for him and the Republican Party to address the economy, high unemployment, prescription costs and corporate welfare, and provide the average citizen medical and retirement benefits like they receive.
