Ms. Amy Bilodeau is my 8th grade math and science teacher this year. She has also taught eighth grade at Lewiston Middle School and at Wales Central School. She has had the opportunity to teach at the second, fourth, and sixth grade levels. She has very high expectations for her students, which we all hope to reach.

While growing up in Lewiston, she attended Lewiston High School. In her four years at LHS, she was involved in many sports. Among them were track and field and field hockey. Ms. Bilodeau played forward right wing in field hockey. Ms. Bilodeau has completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Maine. Currently, she is working towards her Masters’ Degree. Ms. Bilodeau has one sibling.

For sparetime activities she enjoys painting and scrap booking. For outdoor activities she enjoys mountain hiking and snowboarding. She also likes to go to the gym and spend time with her family and friends. Ms. Bilodeau is engaged, and she will be getting married on June 26, 2004.

Ms. Amy Bilodeau, in my opinion, is awesome. She is a really fun teacher to have. She doesn’t really do a lot of bookwork in any of her classes. Mostly we do projects. For example, just a few weeks ago, we did a really cool math project to help us understand how to use graphs and apply concepts.

Currently in science we are learning about genetics. We connected math and environmental science with genetics using leaves and trees. We measured the trunk, crown and height of the tree. 1 hope to do more projects such as the ones we have already done.
