Walt Disney was a major cartoonist
who first got noticed in 1928. Walt
created the first Mickey in a short film
with no sound. Soon after that, he
created Steamboat Willie, a major
production for Walt Disney. He created
his first full-feature length film in 1938. That film was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. After that, he made many full-length films such as Fantasia and Dumbo. Walt received numerous amounts of Academy Awards in his lifetime.
He opened his own theme park, Disneyland, in 1955. Now they are all over the world, even in Tokyo, Japan. Walt Disney World is larger than Disneyland. It has multiple theme parks and even an on-site hotel. When Disney died, the Disney studios kept working. People celebrate Walt Disney’s cartoons and films in multiple languages.
