I want to say thanks to all of the police officers at the world church of the creator rally (not capitalized intentionally). They did an excellent job keeping everything in control. The officers I spoke with were very polite and friendly.

I even saw one officer having his picture taken by a young child and then holding the child while his dad took a picture of them both.

This made a great impression on the community and those who came to the rally. They did a great job not letting the hate that was being spread affect them personally.

The greatest help we had was from those in and around this community who were praying and the Jesus Party that took those prayers to the street.

The Jesus Party went to the rally to spread peace and love to those around us. Some will say all we did was sing and pray, but that singing and praying affected many people. Many stopped to listen as we prayed and sang about Jesus.

We had two nice young college girls who stopped for a short time and then left. They came back when they realized that hate and violence would not bring them peace. They said they had intended to raise havoc and confusion but because of the praying and singing, they saw Jesus’ love and not the hate around them.

They stayed with us for most of the rally and left when we did.

Violence only creates more hate. The “”I will get vengeance”” attitude only causes destruction.

We must love our enemies, bless them who curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them who spitefully use us and persecute us. This is the only thing that will stop hate.

You can be sure that if they come again we will be there also. We will be there praying and giving glory to Jesus. He is the only one who can heal the brokenhearted and replace hate with love.
