In a letter to the editor appearing in the Feb. 4 Sun Journal, Belinda Jones Kleeberger wrote the following regarding the article about Dennis Dechaine that appeared in the Jan. 27 newspaper.

She wrote that “”the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department, the Maine State Police, an honest judge and a fair jury all came to the right conclusion”” regarding the guilt of Dennis Dechaine.

I suggest that she read every page of James Moore’s book, “Human Sacrifice,” very carefully. She then may have a different opinion of the state’s case against Dennis Dechaine, as it was presented.

I did read the book, and my opinion is that the wrong person was convicted.
