AUBURN – Vanessa Williamson, a 2001 graduate of Edward Little High school, is seeded second in the 200-butterfly for the NCAA Division III Championships to be held March 14-16 at Emory University.
A sophomore at Bates College, Williamson set a new NESCAC record of 2:04.54 in the 200-fly at the recent NESCAC Championship Meet held at Bowdoin.
She has also qualified in the 100-fly and the 400-Intermediate for the NCAA meet.
She is the daughter of Debbie and Dick Williamson of North Auburn.
