Perhaps there were pages missing in the March 24 sports section.
I couldn’t find one article on the Women’s NCAA tournament, nor could I find the updated brackets. But the coverage for the men’s tournament was quite extensive and the brackets were there.
As a new resident of Maine, as well as a new reader of the Sun Journal, I am astounded at the lack of coverage of women’s sports in the Sun Journal now that Maine’s team is no longer in tournament play. There are lots of other wonderful teams to cover and it would help the sport overall to cover the national scene.
Title IX is 30 years old. Please give us the coverage women’s sports so deserve.
