WILTON — The Wiltona Women’s Club met at the Wilton Congregational Church March 11 at 2 p.m. where Sandy Gregor from SeniorsPlus spoke about the programs and services provided for seniors at the center.

Meals are served at noon Monday through Friday at the center. On special days, entertainment often accompanies the meals. Meals also are provided for shut-ins through Meals on Wheels.

Programs on nutrition, fitness, understanding Medicare, help with taxes and lessons in bridge and cribbage all have been offered. Trips have also been organized to various functions.

Following dessert at the March 11 meeting, plans were made for providing favors and prizes for the district meeting on April 5 at the Boiler Room.

Several “angel bags” were brought to the meeting as well as items to fill the bags. These will be assembled at the club’s next meeting. Wiltona will meet at the home of Barbara Hathaway at 2 p.m. April 8. The program will be “Travels with Richard Corey.”

Wiltona will hold its annual game party at 1 p.m. May 21 at the Wilton Congregational Church.
