I wanted to take a minute and put to paper thoughts I’ve had since we began this endeavor to liberate a nation from a dictator.
While I’m not sure I completely agree with the politics of this endeavor our country has currently undertaken, I wanted to acknowledge the men and women from all over the United States, from all different backgrounds and cultures, who are fighting this war. These are the people who need and deserve our support.
We may not agree with the politics of it, but I should hope every American feels what I do for those men and women.
Watching CNN daily, I recently caught a piece by a staff photographer for the New York Times and his images truly brought to bear the thoughts, prayers and respect I have for these men and women from our country, fighting our war!
The definition of a patriot, according to Webster’s dictionary, is: n. a person who loves and loyally and zealously supports his country.
With that in mind, we should support our troops and the families of our troops as loyally and zealously as they have us, because if we don’t have each other then what do we truly have?
