FARMINGTON – The sixth annual Healthy Beaver 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 5 p.m. outside Mantor Library on the University of Maine Farmington campus.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Race day registration will begin at 4:15 p.m. Entry forms are available at the UMF Health and Fitness Center, Olympia Sports in Farmington, and UMF’s Dearborn Gymnasium. The race serves as a fund-raiser for the UMF men’s and women’s cross country team.

Entry fee for UMF students is $3 pre-registration, and $5 on race day, and $5 for all non-UMF students (pre-registration), and $7 on race day.

Checks can be made payable to UMF Athletics-Cross Country, and sent with registration form to the following address: Wendy Browning, Administrative Assistant, UMF-Dearborn Gymnasium, 163 High St., Farmington, Me. 04938.

LEWISTON – The team of Paul Ouellette and Phil Lebel took top honors in the Wednesday night Lewiston Elks Pool League. Second was the duo of Jim O’Donnell-Ray Rancourt, followed by Gerry Vautour-Dan Asselin.
