The picture of the month should be the photograph of little 8-year-old Joseph Taylor titled “Honk for our troops,” (March 31).

He stood there in the rain and sleet with his slicker on and an umbrella to show support for the U.S. troops. He even had his G.I. Joe rigged on a stick, holding an American flag. This was fantastic photography by Karin Steinbrueck.

If could be made picture of the year and deserves an award.

It touches people’s hearts to see support like this from an 8 year old boy and hope he’s rewarded for his dedication to our U.S. troops.
