1929 – 2003
EAST FRYBURG-Harold W. Richardson, 73, of Stanley Hill Road, East Fryeburg, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 5, at his home.
He was born Sept. 17, 1929, the son of the late Warren and Laura Hill Richardson. He was a lifelong reisident of Fryeburg, and was educated in Fryeburg schools.
Early in his career he was a woodsman, worked several years for Daimond National and Glenn Builders. For the past 10 years he worked as a carpenter for the Fryeburg Fair Association.
He was a Special Functions Officer for the Fryeburg Police, a member of the Fryeburg Fish and Game Association and the East Fryeburg Grange. He enjoyed tinkering and puttering around.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carol Stevens Richardson of Fryeburg; four sons, Warren Richardson and his wife Terry of Fryeburg, Wade Richardson and his wife Tina of Bridgton, Wayne Rideout and Paul Rideout, both of Denmark; five daughters, Linda Stubbs and her husband Michael of Patten, Catherine Cross and her husband Gene of Naples, Jeanette Driscoll and her husband Devon of Holland, Mass., Joline Hicks and her husband Norman of Lovell, and Karen Gilman and her husband Charlie of East Conway, N.H.; two brothers, Clayton and David Richardson, both of Fryeburg; one sister, Hilda Barker of Casco; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Carlene; and two brothers, Francis and Donald.
